Scrapstore Description
Community Scrap Shack is a Community Interest Company and opened in March 2011. Membership to our scrapstore is open to educational establishments, community groups, families, artists and anyone who has an interest in creative recycling. The scrapstore houses an 'Aladdins Cave' of unusual, exciting and inspirational resources to support creativity and play, for young and old alike. We have displays and ideas to inspire your projects, planned workshops to explore the potential of scrap and friendly staff who have a wealth of knowledge of crafts and education. There are lots of additional services planned, including outreach to our wider community, a Crafters/Artist Gallery, Children's Craft Parties and much, much more! Community Scrap Shack is also part of the Community Repaint Network. Please feel free to take a look around, with no obligation to join.
