Finding a rental car in Moscow

Hey everyone, I'm travelling to Moscow for a couple of weeks on business and thinking about renting a car. I've heard traffic is pretty intense, but I need the flexibility to get around. Never rented a car in Russia before. What's the process like for foreigners? Do local rental companies accept international driver's permits, or do I need a Russian license? Any help appreciated.

Renting in Moscow is straightforward at the airport or downtown. Big international brands are present, but local companies often have better prices.
