Topic-icon Windows 10 Activation After SSD Upgrade

2 weeks 1 day ago #5581 by Patterson Donald
After moving an older PC to an SSD and reinstalling Windows 10, everything became faster, but activation stayed unresolved. The edition looked correct, updates were installed, and the device worked fine. What actually helped you get the status stable again?

This happened to me after upgrading a desktop from a slow hard drive to an SSD. The performance improvement was obvious, but the activation page still showed that extra step was needed. I checked the edition, device name, and update status first, then restarted once to make sure Windows had finished the background changes. After that, KMS Activator Windows 10 finalized the activation state, and the system stayed active through later updates. I kept the same installed apps and did not need to repeat the Windows installation, which was the main thing I wanted to avoid.
